Laws and Legislation of Kratom in West Virginia
While some states currently possess a classification for Kratom, West Virginia is not one of these states. And even though there have been multiple attempts to classify Kratom as a Schedule I controlled substance, they have all failed. Recently, legislators introduced a bill to have the West Virginia Board of Pharmacy study Kratom and recommend whether to ban or regulate it. Unfortunately, the bill was tabled in committee, but the American Kratom Association hopes to garner support for the regulatory bill in an upcoming session.
Purchasing and Shipping Kratom in West Virginia
In West Virginia, Kratom is readily available in vape shops, smoke shops, specialty shops, dispensaries, and gas stations. However, since Kratom is relatively new in the United States, some companies may take that advantage to make money by selling low-quality, substandard, untested and sometimes adulterated products. Therefore, until the FDA or other laws regulate Kratom, it’s essential to research the store and its products. Search the Internet for Kratom suppliers and stores, read Google reviews and look at the company’s longevity and return guarantee. The Kratom community is passionate, and customers are very vocal about the sales, services and quality of different Kratom companies.
The Kratom advocacy group, the American Kratom Association (AKA), sets vendor guidelines. Kingdom Kratom is one company that adheres to those standards to ensure you get unadulterated and pure products. In addition, the company continues to work to finalize Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to get full certification from the AKA.
At Kingdom Kratom, products are certified as organic, sourced from within Indonesia from verified farmers with whom they have built strong relationships. In addition, all products undergo testing for purity and potency. The team at Kingdom Kratom is passionate about Kratom and eager to field questions from newcomers and devotees alike.
