What is kratom?
Kratom, or Mitragyna Speciosa, is a tropical evergreen tree native to Southeast Asia and is a member of the coffee plant family. The leaves of the kratom tree have been used for centuries for medicinal purposes and as a worker’s aid. Kratom strains are divided into color families determined by the color of the leaves, veins and stems. There is Red Vein Kratom, Green Vein, White Vein and then two fermented strains of Kratom- Yellow/Gold and Chocolate. Each has its unique benefits and characteristics. Today, we will discuss an extraordinary fermented yellow strain – Yellow Thai Kratom.
What is Yellow Thai Kratom?
As mentioned above, Yellow Thai Kratom is both highly unique and very rare. Many Kratom users are very familiar with the other strains of Thai Kratom, White Thai, Green Thai and Red Thai. While most yellow strains are fermented red kratom, the first thing unique about Yellow Thai Kratom is that it is fermented White Thai Kratom. White Thai, famous for its reported incomparable energy boost, has been taken and fermented for a couple of days to produce this new yellow vein strain. Kratom users who have been lucky enough to get their hands on this strain claim that it provides a fantastic analgesic response, moderately stimulating and euphoric and also moderately sedating depending on the amount consumed. It is a very well-rounded strain that is highly balanced. Yellow Thai is grown as White Thai in Thailand and fermented by farmers to produce this new balanced, yellow strain.
