Laws and Legislation of Kratom in South Carolina
The American Kratom Association is working with South Carolina to develop framework legislation to eventually pass the regulatory bill based on the Kratom Consumer Protection Act passed in many other states.
Where can I buy Kratom in South Carolina?
In South Carolina, Kratom is readily available in vape shops, smoke shops, specialty shops, dispensaries, and gas stations. However, since Kratom is relatively new in the U.S., some companies may take that advantage to make money by selling low-quality, substandard, untested and sometimes adulterated products. Therefore, until the FDA or other laws regulate Kratom, it’s essential to research the store and its products. Search the Internet for Kratom suppliers and stores, read Google reviews and look at the company’s longevity and return guarantee. The Kratom community is passionate, and customers are very vocal about the sales, services and quality of different Kratom companies.
The Kratom advocacy group, the American Kratom Association (AKA), sets vendor guidelines, and at Kingdom Kratom, we adhere to those standards to ensure you get unadulterated and pure products. In addition, we are working to finalize our Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to get full certification from the AKA.
At Kingdom Kratom, our products are certified as organic, sourced from within Indonesia from verified farmers with whom we have built strong relationships. In addition, we test all our products for purity and potency. Our team at Kingdom Kratom are passionate Kratom experts, and we’re happy to field questions from newcomers and devotees alike. So if you have more questions about Kratom, please don’t hesitate to ask! Also, please give our sample packs a try!
The AKA and Kratom Advocacy in South Carolina
The American Kratom Association (AKA) is a non-profit advocacy group established in 2014, committed to preserving and protecting the freedom of Kratom or Mitragyna Speciosa. Also, it advocates for regulation to ensure Kratom quality and also for research on the benefits of Kratom. The AKA continues to work tirelessly to have Kratom legal in every state. You can help in that effort by joining the AKA as a “protector” of Kratom. You’ll receive notification of any laws changes and advocacy needed. Join the email list here.
Working in concert with the AKA, the Botanical Education Alliance also dedicates itself to educating consumers, lawmakers, law enforcement, and the media about safe and therapeutic natural supplements, including Kratom. Its mission is to increase understanding to influence public policy and protect natural supplements.
The Kratom Consumer Protection Act is under consideration in more than 20 states. As of 2023, the KPCA has passed in the following states: Utah, Georgia, Arizona, Oregon, Nevada, Colorado, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Hopefully, Louisiana will soon be next!
