Malay Kratom
Malay Kratom is a well known and more mild form of Kratom for those that sometimes feel Kratom can be too strong, or want to ease their way in. Malay Kratom is actually NOT grown in Malaysia, as currently almost all Kratom is grown in Indonesia. Similar to Bali Kratom, Malay Kratom earned its name from the general effect that these strains give, which resembles the lifestyle in Malaysia – Chill.
Malay Kratom has elevated amounts of Mitragynine, which is the primary Alkaloid in Kratom. Mitragynine has been studied to be effective for mood elevation and has strong analgesic properties. These strains tend to have lower amounts of the other main Alkaloid in Kratom, 7-OH. 7-OH is the energy and focus boosting Alkaloid in Kratom, which means these strains are a lot more relaxing.
All Malay strains – Red, Green and White – are good to take whenever you like, most people prefer them during the day but the Red Malay is “slow” enough that some like to take it in the evening time. These are some of the original Kratom strains and they stick around and remain popular because they are relatively calm and are also great to mix with your favorite “fast” strains. If you are new to Kratom and not sure about tolerance or what to try, Malay is a good place to start.

Malay Kratom is well known as one of the first few Kratom strains to make it to the US. It is actually not grown in Malaysia. The name “Malay” refers to the lifestyle that people have while living in Malaysia – Chill.
It is great during the day and also during the evening times. This is due to the high levels of the Mitragynine Alkaloid and relatively low levels of the energy boosting Alkaloid 7-OH.
